Summer 1- Year 3

Year 3 Medium Term Plan shows all the fabulous learning opportunities linked to our theme WW2, we very much look forward to children sharing their Home Learning Grid tasks which can be shared on Seesaw and/or brought into school to share with the class.

An exciting school visit to the Air Raid Shelter in Stockport is planned to enhance children's learning about life during the War.

Year 4 MTP

Dear Parents, Carers I do hope you've all had a lovely Easter break and are ready and the children are raring for our new term . This half term our main geography topic will be looking at the formation of rivers and mountains. Here the children will be learning firsthand about erosion and deposition on our trip to Park Bridge on the 15th May. Keep an eye out for the letter next week. This topic links fabulously with our science learning which is about the water cycle.

Summer 1 Topic Information

This half term Year 6 will be preparing for the SATS tests which take place in May. We will be taking part in lots of revision topics to build confidence and fully prepare children for their assessments. Please join us on Tuesday 18th April after school for a parents meeting about the SATS tests.

Pyjama Treat Afternoon in Year 5!

Year 5 had their long-awaiting treat afternoon on the last day of term for achieving 30 Class Compliments!  They chose to have a comfy pyjama afternoon. complete with cuddly toys, pillows and sweets!  They all enjoyed the movie "Yes Day" and it was a great way to finish the term before the Easter Holidays!  Enjoy the break everyone!  Mrs Blomeley

Year 5 put their amazing home-made shields to the test yesterday on the last day of their Anglo Saxon topic!  They re-enacted a tribal charge between the Broadbent Beasts and the Ferocious Folds!  No children or shields were harmed during the charge but great fun was had by all!  Well done everyone!  Mrs Blomeley
