I do hope you have all had a fantastic Easter break. As you are aware, your Year 6 child's Key Stage 2 tests start on Monday, 11th May. Over the next 19 school days, we will be gap-filling their knowledge and practising a lot in maths, reading, and SPaG to ensure they are fully prepared. Please continue to support your child with any revision. Alongside our new topic: Skellig- Is it a bird or a Mythical Creature? We will be locating deserts, classifying living things, and using the story to inspire us in our narrative writing. Important Dates and Information
- Booster Classes are continuing until Friday, 8th May
- Parents' meetings are on Tuesday 28th of April and the 5th of May. More information will be emailed to you.
- A Gorse Hall visit has been arranged for Friday, 15th May
- Sponsored Walk- Monday 18th May
- Careers Week - 18th May
- PE days are on Monday and Friday, with the children completing gymnastics and rounders.
- Auditions for the end-of-year production will be taking place, and scripts will be sent home before the Whit holidays.
- SATs breakfast from 8:15 will be served on Monday 11th May to Thursday 14th May for all of Year 6.
