We have had a great first day at school. The children settled in well and I am so proud of them!
This half term we will be looking for signs of autumn and sharing the story of 'Leaf Man'. I have attached the Medium Term Plan and Home Learning Grid for anyone wanting to do some additional learning (this is entirely optional).

We are delighted to announce that we, Broadbent Fold Primary School and Nursery have achieved the School Games PLATINUM Mark Award for the 2025/26 academic year. The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success. Our sporting achievements this year can be seen everyday on our school blog.

Our nursery and reception visited Cockfields Farm today. They found some fresh air away from the wild fires and explored all the different animals based on their topic work. They've has so much fun!

Friendship Baton Relay

Today, we took part in the friendship baton relay between different schools in Tameside. We received the olynpic torch from Yew Tree Primary School whilst we were taking part in our Nerf Fest at Astley Sports Village!
