Jubilee Celebrations!

On the last day of term the whole school got together to sing the songs throughout the decades that they had been  practising each week!   Great fun was had by all as the children sung Doris Day's "Que Sera, Sera", Madonna's "Holiday" and many others, including their favourite "Staying Alive" by the Bee Gees!  They had a great celebration, dressed in their red, white and blue to commemorate HRH our Majesty the Queen's platinum Jubilee!

National Numeracy Day - Super Mathematicians!

On National Numeracy Day we looked at Maths throughout the school and chose a Super Mathematician of the Day from each class. Tiny, our White Rose Maths mascot, helped to present the certificates!  Well done to everyone!  Tiny will be visiting each classroom for the last Half Term!  Mrs Blomeley

Handwriting Winners Summer 1

A huge well done to our handwriting winners this half term. I am so impressed with the standard of writing which is now proudly on display outside Mrs Parker's room.

Please have a look at some of their incredible work. I hope you enjoy using using your new handwriting pencil.

Science challenge- what is this?

Can you guess what is in the picture this time?

Can you describe the colour, texture and shapes that you can see? Does it remind you of anything?

If you think you know the answer write it down with your name and give it to Miss Harvey.

Explorify...

Well done to those who guessed correctly today- it was a starfish!

Did you know that a starfish is not actually a fish and it cannot swim? It is an echinoderm which uses its suckers to crawl across the ocean floor.
