Well done to all the KS2 pupils who took part in the Tameside Cross Country Championships this weekend! We had some fantastic results with 3 children being selected to represent Tameside in the Greater Manchester Championships! Y3/4 girls - Esme 16th, Alice 24th

Our dodgeball teams showed fantastic skill and enthusiasm in their competition tonight. Our Year 6 team came 2nd in their group and our Year 5 team 3rd in theirs. Well done everyone - you did our school proud!

In maths, the class practised using the multiplication grid. They generated their own numbers using dice and checked their answers in the end with the calculator.

In Science, we learnt about the prenatal development and growth of a foetus. We compared the different stages of development with different fruits and even held a watermelon to see how heavy a pregnancy could have felt at 40 weeks!

Year 5 are tasked with writing me a persuasive letter to adopt an animal from the WWF website. They have been researching facts about their chosen animal to learn more about why they are endangered and what we can do to help. This will help them write their letter next week.
