Easter competition entries

What amazing Easter competition entries! Lots of effort and time were put into these creations and it's extremely difficult to choose a competition winner. Thank you everyone for your entries.

World Maths Day activities

For World Maths Day, we played number hunt bingo where the class had to ask other pupil questions to complete their bingo grid. We also played a Maths Quiz in small teams!

Team Winners!

Team Sapphire have won the house points this half term with 1056 points! Well done Team Sapphire, please enjoy your non-uniform day tomorrow.

Shapes in buildings around the world

Year 5 have researched some interestingly shaped buildings to sketch and paint with water colours. They look fabulous and some of them will be displayed on our whole school Maths display!

Girls Festival at Manchester City

The girls attended an under 11s festival - they played 4 teams and did not concede a goal - outstanding defence and goal keeping. We got knocked out in the final on penalties - however Woman of the Match was Captain Matilda who saved at least 8 penalties. Super proud of our girls!

DFE Attendance Filming.

It's been an exciting day in school today as we took part in a film for the Department for Education on school attendance. It shows the value of school and shows how it’s more than schoolwork. Being in school can help children build resilience, learn social skills, boost their confidence, and teach them that they can do hard things. In short, this is about the social and emotional benefits of school, which we put at the heart of at Broadbent Fold. Thank you for all staff and parents for taking part.
