Thank you to all the parents during Autumn term who brought in stickers from Aldi. We managed to fill 2 posters and so have recieved 2 bags of free sporting equipment. In each bag there are some bibs, cones, beanbags, relay batons, stickers, egg and spoons and some balls. Broadbent Fold will have a fantastic time using this equipment in the run up to sports day!

Pupils enjoyed the event and all got stickers for taking part.

Science Week

It's Science Week and this year we're focusing on the journey of a bee. Today, we learnt about how a bee makes its journey to the flower to collect nectar and as it does it transfers pollen from one flower to the next. We decided to act out pollination and became buzzy bees or beautiful flowers ourselves! We made our outfits then buzzed around the classroom, picking up pollen and moving it from one flower to another. We learnt why pollination is so important as without it new plants wouldn't grow.

World Book Day

On Thursday it was World Book Day... We all came dressed as book characters. We had a special visitor, Gangsta Granny (AKA Mrs Blomeley), who read us a story. The children took the opportunity to share their favourite stories with each other.

Puppet show

What a fun and creative week we had! On Monday we made Bee and Me puppets. On Tuesday we wrote speech bubbles and scripts which we later used in our puppet show. We were buzzing about it.
