We used our inference skills today to get into character with our hot seating skills. We had to pretend to be the Stone Age boy or Om the Stone Age girl and answer questions as our character. Great oracy today Year 3!

Footprints and a mysterious egg has appeared in the Year 1 outdoor area! We’re checking the CCTV footage to see if we can discover which creature might have laid it...

Well done to this weeks Head-Teacher and Good to be Green award winners. Also, to the three children who have achieved sporting awards for their achievements at their outside of school clubs. Super effort.

As part of her home learning, Phoebe has made a Stone Age spear at home. This is super work.

Today year 3 joined an online workshop with author Aoife Dooley who has written the graphic novels called 'Squid squad'. We joined in with a drawing lesson creating some of the sea creature characters from Aoife's book. We then listened to Aoife talk about what it is like to be an author and where her ideas come from.

Well done to our stars this week who won awards in assembly. Well done to the whole class who won an award for their enthusiasm during our workshop yesterday.

Intranet legends were looked at in Year 2 and children discussed Online Safety- The importance of not clicking on things online unless we know it's safe was reinforced.

Children designed their own Intranet Legend and described their skills- eg. Knowing not to click until you are sure it is safe.
