GMP

Greater Manchester Police visited Broadbent Fold for a school engagement programme. They engaged the children in how to keep themselves safe from ringing 999,911 or 222, using What 3 Words, how to describe a culprit, and how to stop and search. The children and staff under went several  physical challenges and had to answer questions to keep points. Paul and the officers explained the issues that the GMP are facing within Greater Manchester with regards to drugs and knife crime. 


The Daily Mile in Y6

To ensure Y6's wellbeing is in tact with our booster classes starting every day, Year 6 are keeping fit by participating in the Daily Mile. Well done everyone!


Science Fair

Year 4 had lots of fun at the Science fair this afternoon. A big thank you to Year 6 for organising and running it for us!


Science Week Live Lesson

Year 54 enjoyed watching a live lesson from the BBC as part of Science week. They learnt all about the solar system, especially the moon, and even heard some fun facts from Tim Peake.

Year 5 had an amazing time at the science fair ran by year 6! What amazing and interesting stalls to explore.

This weeks award winners are...

Well done to this week's Head-Teacher and Good to be Green award winners. Congratulations to A who has been award two awards for his achievements at his out of school 'Ninja Knights' club. Keep up the excellent work everyone!


World Book Day - Buddy Reading

As part of our World Book Day celebrations, the children enjoyed a special reading session with their Year 6 buddy readers. Some of the children brought a favourite book from home to share with their buddy, talking about why they like the story and what makes it special to them.
