Broadbent Fold took part in the Challenge Me Throwing and Catching event on Monday. Pupils in EYFS ahd to throw and catch a large ball for 2 minutes, pupils in KS1 had to throw and catch a tennis ball for 4 minutes and pupils in KS2 had to try to throw and catch a ball with one hand for 6 mintues. Pupils enjoyed the event and all got stickers for taking part.

We all loved having our lunch on Mellor's Big Red Bus, it was yummy!
We have been extremely busy hunting for a lost penguin. We found some clues in our playground - feathers, ice and footprints! We have painted pictures, made missing posters and made traps. Please let us know if you spot him!
We had a fantastic week celebrating Chinese New Year. We made dragons, sampled Chinese food and measured and compared the length of noodles.
We created some fantastic polar bear pictures using chalk and black pen.

Last week, the whole school took part in the Challenge Me Hula Hooping event. EYFS had to hula hoop for 2 minutes, KS1 for 4 minutes and KS2 for 6 minutes without stopping! This was to try to improve our stamina. We had lots of fun and all got stickers for taking part.
