Year 3 have loved exploring the light and dark using dark boxes yesterday. Today they have investigated which materials are the most reflective.

Performance poetry

Year 5 practiced their performance poetry outside and showed each other their parts. This was followed by a whole class practice round - I filmed them so they could watch back and identify what they needed to improve on.

Spanish trip to Rayner Stephen’s

Year 6 had a fantastic time visiting Rayner Stephen's for a Sanish train experience. They thoroughly enjoyed learning to buy a train ticket, exchanging money, visiting the cafe, having cake and juice and winning prizes. What a great experience.

Celebrations celebrated by Jewish People

Looking at celebrations that Jewish people enjoy.

The Passover Seder plate is a special plate. It holds important symbolic foods used during the Passover Seder. The Seder is a special meal where Jewish families remember the story of their ancestors leaving slavery in Egypt.

The Seder plate helps show all the ideas of the Jewish people. It makes the Seder meal unique and helps keep the special foods close by.

English - Poetry

We are moving onto Performance poetry. Year 5 are going to study a Victorian-themed poem to learn and recite. This morning they did a rhyme and rhythm investigation.
