Year 5 practiced their performance poetry outside and showed each other their parts. This was followed by a whole class practice round - I filmed them so they could watch back and identify what they needed to improve on.

Year 6 had a fantastic time visiting Rayner Stephen's for a Sanish train experience. They thoroughly enjoyed learning to buy a train ticket, exchanging money, visiting the cafe, having cake and juice and winning prizes. What a great experience.

The Passover Seder plate is a special plate. It holds important symbolic foods used during the Passover Seder. The Seder is a special meal where Jewish families remember the story of their ancestors leaving slavery in Egypt.
The Seder plate helps show all the ideas of the Jewish people. It makes the Seder meal unique and helps keep the special foods close by.

Today we had a special visitor, Agnes, our school governor. She talked to us about the production of chocolate and how this was produced in Ghana her home country. The children now are official chocolate makers and know how to make dark, milk and white chocolate.
