Niamh's

Niamh, great work again. A wonderful sword in the stone picture, King Arthur information and handwriting poem. Working hard as always, I love the detail in your King Arthur information and how neat you've got your handwriting. Great use of ICT too. You're a star. Miss Glenn.

Y3 Home Learning 29th June

Dear Year 3,

What a fantastic week we've had learning about World War 2. The Anderson Shelters and your family research has been amazing. This week it's time to start looking at Rationing, Healthy Living and trying some of those WW2 recipes. Enjoy, and we look forward to seeing some on Seesaw and over Zoom.

Take good care

Ms McCoy and Mrs Slate

WW2 Home Learning

Just look at these history experts, Sam G, Henry, Noah and Sam H, totally amazing efforts and of course thanks to their parents who we are sure enjoyed this project just as much as their children.

Dylan has been learning about history and has sent a wonderful photo of some medals- impressive.

Now Year 3, can we explain what they have made?

How do you think that it would feel like going into an Anderson Shelter?

You have lived through lockdown- in the future Year 3 you are going to be part of history 2020!!

School Games Virtual Award 2020

Broadbent Fold have been awarded the School Games Virtual Award 2020 for the great work we have been doing engaging pupils on and off site with physical activity, sport and fun challenges. Well done to everyone who has joined in with all the sports activities at home and in school.

Maisie's 30 book challenge!

Wow Maisie, 30 books, well done. That pile is almost as tall as you. A great idea for a challenge, which one was you're favourite? You could review them for us and let everyone know on zoom which ones you recommend. Congratulations Maisie. Miss Glenn.

Lottie's Sports Week Activities

Lottie has joined in with the Broadbent Fold Sports Week activites. She managed to balance on a tree stump in her garden for 20 seconds on each leg and has spelt out her first name and surname with yoga moves! Fantastic work Lottie!

Has anyone else joined in with any Sports Week activites? Don't forget to send your pictures to admin@broadbentfold.tameside.sch.uk.

Hollie's Beautiful Garden

Hollie has been busy planting lots of seeds in the garden. She planted the seeds at the start of lockdown and they are now starting to turn into beautiful flowers in lots of different colours. She has also been taking care of the bees in her garden too. Keep up the brilliant work Hollie!

Mia's Amazing Work

Mia has been very busy with her home learning. She has joined in with all the Zoom classes this week and loved the phonics scavenger hunt. She has been busy practising her spellings, number and reading skills. Fantastic work Mia! Keep it up!
