Early Years had a wonderful time on the trip to the Tropical Butterfly House. We saw lots of fabulous minibeasts plus lemurs, tortoises, meerkats plus lots more. The dinosaur trail was lots of fun. 

Thank you to Findel Education for their hard working making our veggie patches. They look amazing. Thank you to our Eco-Leaders too, who spent the day digging and planting. Hopefully we should gets some vegetables through and we can start cooking. 

We are delighted to announce that Broadbent Fold Primary School, have achieved the School Games GOLD Mark Award for the 2022/23 academic year. The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

Well done to this week's Head-teacher, Good to be Green and History award (History quiz) winners. You have really stood out this week! Well done to R who has been working hard at his football club winning the Puma cup in the final. Keep up the hard work everyone

Congratulations to Year 3 children who have received their awards today. Head Teacher's certificates were awarded for great efforts in writing a newspaper report and brilliant work in Science-learning about pollination. We also had a vocab ninja champion and a good to be Green lottery winner. There was also a History quiz winner.

Our fabulous new topics are ready for Year 4 to return after their holidays. 

A fantastic way to end the half term with so many awards. Congratulations to all our Year 4 winners. 

A massive congratulations to the winners of the History Quiz Competition. It was quite tense in the classroom during quiz time but the children battled through and became class champions. Fantastic effort to everyone involved. 

Today we have said goodbye to our butterflies. We have loved watching them change from caterpillars to beautiful butterflies.
