Anti-Bullying Week 2024 will take place from Monday 11th - Friday 15th November, with the theme: Choose Respect. Odd Socks Day is taking place on Tuesday 12th November, with adults and children being encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique.

Thank you to our year 6s for attending the remembrance at Dukinfield cenotaph. They represented our school proudly and lay a wreath on our behalf. 

A mystery egg has been laid in the Year 1 outdoor area! We are awaiting CCTV footage to see if we can see what creature has laid it...

Year 5’s OAA session included a game of Hippos and Crocs!  In their groups, they had to walk across the "river", avoiding the animals!  The problem was, they were blindfolded!  Their team members had to devise a plan, using different sorts of claps to guide them along!  We discussed later which methods worked!  Great work Year 5!  Mrs Blomeley

Headteacher's Awards this week were given for great enthusiasm and outstanding manners as well as fantastic independent work in Science with beautiful handwriting!  Good to be Green awards were given for following our school rules of being Ready, Respectful and Safe.  Well done everyone!  Mrs Blomeley

Well done to this week's Head-Teacher and Good to be Green award winners! Year 1 have been given a whole class award for 'starting this half term positively and being ready to learn.' Well done to the children who have been busy at their after-school clubs getting special awards. Keep up the hard work everyone!

I'm very proud of the Remembrance work that Year 6 completed. Their poems are thoughtful and their art work is impressive.

Congratulations to our award winners this week. Headteacher's Certificates were awarded for collaboration in DT lessons when making fire engines and for showing great throwing and catching skill in PE.
