Litter Picking

Year 2 have been doing a fantastic job with their litter picking. They have found lots of interesting items buried under the bushes! A brilliant way to help save the environment.

Leaf ID and fascinating invertebrates

A fantastic first Forest School session with Year 4. We identified lots of leaves, found some fascinating invertebrates and played the fun beetle tag game. Well done everyone!

KS2 Sport’s Day

The rain managed to stay away and we had a fabulous sports day this afternoon. The children were fantastic and it was fabulous seeing so many parents and careers come and watch. Well done everyone! The results will be added to all the events this week and the winning team will be announced on Friday.

Broadbent Fold vs Arlies

Our Year 4 and 5 boys football team had their first game against Arlies PrImary School this week with a final score of 0-2. They showed great promise and teamwork with some fantastic passing skills and lots of shoto on target. We can't wait to see how you develop as a team in future matches. Well done boys!

Marvellous Merits

What an amazing week Year 4 have had completing their multiplication tests. I am so proud of their effort and attainment. Well done to the pencil winners and head teacher awards too.

Exceptional Egyptian Research

Year 4 have thoroughly enjoyed finding out about the Egyptians. They used non-fiction books and iPads to research and loved finding out about pharaohs, pyramids, treasure, location, hieroglyphics, the River Nile, Tutankhamun and Cleopatra. I'm sure you'll agree how fantastic their work looks.
