White Rose Maths has teamed up with leading supermarket, Morrisons, to give primary pupils a series of exciting and FREE workbooks to use at home. These colourful and engaging workbooks are perfect for revisiting and practising work that children have covered earlier in the year, or to prepare them for the new school year ahead.

Our Amazing Toy Stories

Year 1 have been working really hard this half term at writing their own stories about toys. They have all designed a cover and turned their stories into a book. Miss Mainprize and Mrs Hallam were so impressed with everyone.

Keeping Fit in the Playground !

Our Key Stage 2 Pupil Leaders enjoyed demonstrating the new playground equipment today!  The newly installed apparatus was chosen by last year’s Pupil Leadership Team and is proving extremely popular!  The children think it’s a great way to keep fit whilst having a chat with your friends!

Olympic Torch

The Olympic Torch arrived last week as we took part in Tameside's baton relay. Our Sports Ambassadors ran through school with the London 2012 torch and they were joined by a special mascot!

It was a fabulous end to our Sports Week.

Home Learning 28th June

We are back into isolation this week due to a case of COVID-19. This means that we are back to doing Zoom sessions - there will be 2 Zoom sessions everyday apart from today where there will just be the 1. I have attached the home learning for this week. I understand that some of you will still be working and will not be able to complete all of the learning set, just try to do a little bit with your child everyday. I cannot wait to see all the things you get up to, please send them to me on Seesaw. Any questions, don't be afraid to get in touch.

Tokyo Olympic Dance Workshop

Year 1 enjoyed the Tokyo Olympic Dance Workshop today where they learnt a dance to some Japanese music which incorporated movements from lots of the different sports we will see at the Summer Olympics.
