                                    Operation Christmas Child – Samaritan’s Purse

Following last years’ great response to the appeal we are again taking part in Operation Christmas Child- Samaritan’s Purse UK. The appeal is better known as ‘The Shoebox Appeal.’

All children will be bringing home a leaflet that contains the information on how to fill a shoebox. If you feel this is something you would like to do, please follow the instructions carefully- ensuring that the box is filled correctly, decorated and includes the label and postage.

Please bring your shoeboxes back into school on Tuesday 1st November for the morning assembly so they can be checked, collected and shipped out before Christmas to the areas of need. This appeal is very worthwhile and I am sure the children will thoroughly enjoy finding items to fill their shoeboxes so that another child will have a gift at Christmas time.
