Year 5 were very lucky to have a visitor to Year 5 on Friday to complete their Maths Week England week! Mrs Swift kindly visited our classroom to talk about how she uses Maths at work!  Mrs Swift, who works for HMRC, explained why people pay tax to the Government and what it is used for.  The class were surprised at this!  It was impressive that so many of Year 5 had spoken to their parents about how they use Maths at work!  They were happy to share their information with the rest of the classs!  All of this helped the class to understand just how important Maths is in our lives!  Thank you everyone for your support!
