Dear parents and carers,
Following Government guidance, we are delighted to be able to welcome all children back to school from Wednesday 2nd September 2020. We understand that returning your child to school whilst the COVID-19 pandemic is still present in our country is still a worrying prospect for many of you, but I hope that the communications and information we have sent out to parents have reassured you that we are doing everything we can to make school as safe an environment as possible.
On this page you will find our latest COVID-19 Risk Assessment. The Government have stated that it would be 'good practice' for schools to publish this document and we have followed that advice. All our risk assessments and protocols are being evaluated and reviewed on a fortnightly basis so this document may be subject to regular change.
A parent information sheet is attached, which will also be updated once we are back in school.
This will be the place that you will find the most up to date information regarding how we are minimising the risk of COVID-19 in school and what measures we are putting in place on a daily basis.
If you don't find the answers to your re-opening questions in the documents below, please contact the school office where will be able to help you with your queries.
Support from Mentally Healthy Schools:
Although some children have returned to school already, for many, the new autumn term will be their first time stepping into a classroom since lockdown began. Understandably, this may be a strange or worrying time for some children, parents and carers, and schools.
We know that supporting children’s mental wellbeing during the return to school is a key priority for many of you and us at Broadbent Fold. Please see the following link for returning to school resources:
