Re:  Easter Bonnet / Decorate an Egg Competition

Easter is nearly upon us and thoughts turn to spring, daffodils, Easter eggs and of course traditional Easter Bonnets!

It is a Broadbent Fold tradition to have an Easter Bonnet/Egg competition and this year it will be during our Easter assembly on Friday 31st March. 

The children in Nursery and Reception’s task will be to design an Easter bonnet to wear during the Easter Bonnet parade at the Easter Assembly at 9.00am

Year 1 and Year 2’s task will be to design an Easter bonnet or decorate an egg.

The children in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6’s task will be to decorate an egg. 

Prizes will be awarded for innovation, creativity and most importantly the children’s own work and handicraft.  Entrants should be brought into school on Thursday 30th March.  We cannot wait to see what you all come up with, the designs get better and better every year!

We will also be holding an Easter Raffle to raise funds for school.  There are lots of Easter Eggs and art sets to be won.  If you would like to buy a raffle ticket, they are £1 a strip and will be available to buy on the day.  All proceeds will go to school fund.  The winners will be drawn at the Easter Assembly.
