Welcome back to Summer 1 which is a short but busy term!    Our topic is “Who were the Anglo Saxons?” and we have many fun activities planned to explore how this ancient civilisation have influenced our lives today.

During this half term, Year 5 children will be taking part in the Blind Side Project; a powerful drama production that is touring Tameside schools to highlight violence against women and girls, and to help young people to challenge harmful behaviours.   We also have a fitness session booked with the Druhm School: an innovative workshop to develop core skills for everyday life. 

The PE days for this half term are Thursdays and Fridays and the children will be developing their skills in Football and Rounders..
