Visit from the Halle
We loved our visit from Christine from the Halle Orchestra.
We loved our visit from Christine from the Halle Orchestra.
We had a fabulous day celebrating the coronation.
We are doing so well with our mini bikers sessions. Lots of the children have progressed to pedals! Amazing!
Look at our fabulous hedgehog home made by the Winston Family and all of the BBF Hedgehog Group.
In gardening club today we dug up the overgrown raised beds. We found a giant spring onion, some small onions and some very odd shaped carrots! While we were digging we found lots of worms, a red beetle chrysalis and a very friendly snail! We are going to relocate the vegetable plot and hopefully grow some more fruit, vegetables and herbs this year. The children all worked extremely hard. Well done everyone!
All of us here at Broadbent Fold would like to take the opportunity to wish all of year 6 the best of luck for their tests next week.
We are very proud of how hard you have all worked this year- you are all stars!
The Eco Leaders did a fantastic job when they went litter picking at Gorse Hall. With the help of Mr Pickles from the Friends of Gorse Hall and Mr Moon from Tameside Rotary and we collected 4 big bags full of litter. All of the children worked really hard even in the pouring rain. Well done everyone for helping to improve our local environment which will help our wildlife to grow and thrive.
