Team building in Year 5!

Year 5 enjoyed the first session of their new focus in PE today - OAA.  Their task was a team building challenge where they had to demonstrate agility, balance, coordination and precision.  They had to use non-verbal communication to solve a problem - to get into alphabetical order by surname, all on the bench, without stepping off!  They were only allowed to use hand gestures - no talking or mouthing! All of the teams were impressive - they put their dictionary skills to great use!  Well done everyone!  Mrs Blomeley

Seeds and Plants

Today in Science, the children were given a number of seeds and bulbs on their table and were asked to have a look at them and discuss what they notice about them. The children then completed a matching activity where they had to match the different seeds with the plants. The children learnt a lot of new names of seeds and plants. Why not quiz them and find out about their fantastic knowledge?

Tudor Portraits

Year 4 had a fantastic time practising drawing faces yesterday. They then used their new skills to draw a portrait of Henry VIII wives. Look at how accurate they were with the proportions of their facial features. Some excellent portraits, well done Year 4.
