Year One and Year Two have been feeling very creative and have decided to use the outdoors in their recent Art and Design lesson. The children designed a picture that they could create using only the materials that they could find outside. Year One based their pictures on their topic of 'The Three Little Pigs' and Year Two created a picture linked to their topic of 'The Seaside'. We then made a list and went outdoors to scavenge and find all of the materials that we needed. The children had lots of fun exploring and searching for objects that would be handy for different parts of their pictures. We then came back to class and the children used their plans to create their pictures. The children loved every moment and the work created by the children was outstanding! All in all, a very fun afternoon involving lots of learning both indoors and out.
