Year 3 and Year 5 are enjoying their weekly Reading Buddy sessions each Friday and last week was extra special when Year 5 read their Fantasy stories to Year 3.  They took along some of the magical items that they'd designed and made as a homework project to be used as a feature in their narratives.  Luke from Year 3, whose reading buddy is Jai. said he felt like he was the main character (Michael) in the story because Jai let him hold the magical Marble Ring whilst Jai read the story to him. Likewise, Morgan allowed Olivia to hold the Sea Rainbow Necklace and she too felt like she was part of Morgan's story.  Mason was thrilled that the sword in Abdullah's story was there in front of him and was really impressed with how much Abdullah had written!  Chloe thought Lily's Magical Box of items added detail to her story and Ella was delighted with the surprise at the end of Shane's Fantasy story when he handed her the Skylantle - the important magical item described in his story.  Harrison read his story to Mrs Austin who was more than impressed with his wonderful writing skills!  We think he may become a famous author one day!  Well done to everyone!
