Nursery children are only 3 and 4 years old yet they already use the internet for lots of different reasons. In school and at home children discussed with adults what they use the internet for, we found out children watched videos, played games and of course learnt lots of information through the internet that teachers show them. In nursery we have also used 'skype' to speak to Adarsh, a former nursery child, who moved to the USA and found out about his new school. 

Jakob in our class knew that he could play a game on his dad's phone but not on his mum's phone as she didn't have the internet.

Isla said she watched Peppa pig on the interent.

Abel said he shared photos with his Nana.

After listening to Smartie the penguin story nursery children said if they saw something that they did not want on the internet they would tell their mum, dad or an adult.

Along with the rest of Broadbent Fold we learnt to sing to a e-safety song (e-safety- one direction song) which taught us not to share our details with people we don't know.
